FYI, fawns are what you’re referring too I think. Yearlings are deer that are a year old.

But.....what?? You kill bambi's dad w/o hesitation to be able to claim victory of a trophy or you give them 6-8weeks to add 5-10lbs? I don't buy into the number of future deer you impact by killing either a doe or a buck. Only the big man above knows how many fawns she could/would have the following year or how many does he could/would breed if he was still alive. All puzzle pieces in the game of life which are out of my control, as much as I want to believe I play a part to a significant degree . The only part I know for a decent amount of certainty, if even a minisuce amount, is when I decide to try and take a life to provide meat for my family. Even then, with odds in my favor, I have been smacked in the face with reality of not retrieving that animal for numerous reasons.
