Dog Proof traps

I needed a few more
So I spent a few min searching the web

Best price I found was from Epler Fur Company

I got 6 Dog proof traps and 24 snares shipped to my house for $109 and change
The traps are $125.00 - dozen or $70 for 6

Ordered Online Sunday and arived Fri

I might have to order a dozen of them. I plan on cleaning house this year. Need to get some boards and a fleshing knife too lol.

Interesting design, John
Are fur prices going up or are you just varmint trapping?

Crop damage
Last year a lost to much corn
Also getting into the cattle feed

I will be starting trapping as soon as I get the paperwork back

I had 2 fighting in the Mullberry tree last night
That didn't end well for either

I've used the Dukes for the last 2 seasons and love 'em.I used either a little cheap dry cat food with salmon oil on it and the top edge/lip or small marshmellows. No dogs or chew outs since..the down side to a dog proof is the surprise coyote or fox doesn't happen either.

I 100% recomend them
I used 3 for part of last season

One I placed next to the corner of a barn
In 7 days I caught 6 coon in that set
Just reset and rebaited the trap

Around barns
Small marshmellows , 4 in the trap and 4 - 6 scattered around it
If the coon are being shy
A small amount of Honey , grape or strawberry jelly on the small marshmellows in the trap ( save all the free packets when you eat out )

Out in the woods or along the creeks
CHEAP canned or dry fish cat food
Or a cotton ball soaked in the oil from Tuna or sardines under the trigger

Again some in the trap and some scattered around the trap
