I rented a pair of backcountry style cross country and tried skijoring with our catahoula lacey. Jessie snow shoed behind us. It was impressive how much ground we covered in a few hours. With laceys help i found myself zipping right along though deep fresh snow. This is the most fun ive had since huntimg with jamie's curs.
After owning beagles for quite a few years, we have switched gears to Goldens. Just picked up a pup for the family Christmas gift after my wife and kids were up my rear end to get one. I named him Buck
We already had a golden / collie mix (Billy) that we rescued from the pound as a pup.
He’s my sidekick. He dabbles in shed hunting, pheasant hunting, and basically doesn’t let me out of his sight. Here he is watching me burn stuff in the backyard this morning.
He also loves swimming and fish!!

So this happened today! Been wanting a lab but wife won’t let that happen bc they shed. My aunt first got a litter mate, and got my wife thinking last night at a Christmas party. Well one thing leads to another and we got ourselves a female labradoodle, Belle. Her dad is a chocolate labradoodle and is a good duck dog, so maybe I can start her on antlers and see if I can make something out of her. My girls where so happy and santa hasn’t even came yet.
