Total bummer hicks and J. Sorry to hear!

I wanted to share our hunt from tonight and maybe this is the best thread. We love our beagles and Hunter is without a doubt the best that ive ever owned. He is getting old and its sad to see. Addy and i took him out tonight i pulled the trigger on what is probably the last bunny of the season for us. Killing this cottontail with Addy and Hunter made my season!

Absolutely the best place for this post. We have moments of sadness when they leave. It is the moments like you, Hunter, and Addy had tonight which bring the next dog into our lives. Our house is sad tonight, but I couldn't imagine a life without another dog. Heck. My wife and daughter are on the phone looking for "dog snoring noises" so Graci has some white noise in the background when she sleeps tonight. She is used to fat beagle snores in her room. 😊

Damn fellas...not sure what to say beyond that. I know we are all excited awaiting our next puppy. Tanner will never be replaced, but something is needed to fill the void in our house.

I’ve got a friend rehoming a Doby if anyone is looking for one. Hates cats

Sorry to hear of the pups passing. It’s a bummer that we tend to outlast a lot of them. It’s always the good ones it seems too.
Here’s a good one I’m still hoping will return to his former glory. We have had our friend, a chiropractor, working on him every week. Some improvements.

Today is not the day we wanted, but we knew one day this day would come. Tootsie our almost 17 year old chihuahua, is gonna be her last day. She was always the wife’s dog, but you know how it goes... yup a 4 legged kid. The wife said it’s time to put her down, she’s been on heart medicine for maybe 3-4 years, blind and has spine problems along w very bad teeth.

To be honest, her time has been up but I would never say it as it’s her dog. In my mind it had to be her decision. Wife has been crying for the past two days, and my screen on my phone is blurry as hell cause I’m crying while typing this up. We never want see this day but they always come and one day it will be me going to meet all my loved ones and pets I’ve had.

Rest In Peace my baby girl
