Federal agents discovered a dumpster filled with almost 250 working rifles and shotguns in Oklahoma, and allege that a man was given 2 free shotguns to hang on his wall

A gun store owner may have improperly disposed of the weapons and his staff may have given a man two shotguns for free with no background check.

Apparently the owner said they were defective. I wonder if they weren't some sort of import and instead of a recall they issued a refund and said dispose of them.

Heard a story that the NYC gun buy back had them dumped into the Atlantic. There were folks who knew when and where to the point of getting them out and cleaned before salt water was an issue.

I don't know about that. All the ones I've ever read aboit they cut them in half with torches or shread them. But maybe because NY does some dumb shit.
