So is Trump.
My point was, Biden and his administration haven’t done shit at this point and he HAS the bully pulpit and sits in the WH.
Yes, Trump is coming to EP as a political maneuver but HAD Biden done so I don’t think he would have planned to do this.
This is also no different than Hakeem Jeffries FINALLY going to the border for the first time before the 24 election cuz you know he’s going to throw his hat into the ring as the Democratic candidate. IMO, the Democratic Caucus is getting out ahead of Biden/Harris ticket on verge of imploding. They see the polls and ineptness even though they won’t admit it plus 2024 election is a year and half away.

Either way, just like you said, neither give a shit about the people. They care about what others think and the way they look. A year or two ago he wouldn't of done this.

It doesn't make a difference if I agree with it or not. It is the way it is done these days. Anything the mainstream pushes, they have to react. Both sides have to play this game. I disapprove of this Winston Churchill approach.

Muhfuggers send 111 BILLION to Ukraine but FEMA won’t approve East Palestine for federal disaster relief aid. Now that’s messed up.
FEMA won’t step in when there’s a responsible party on the hook for the damage. I’m paraphrasing it of course, but NS is paying for this so FEMA won’t get involved. Yet….

It's a double-edged sword. He's obviously doing it as political showboating, but he also brings media attention, followers, and awareness. At the end of the day stuff like that and what JD Vance are doing makes it far harder for NS and the feds to bury stuff and whitewash the problem. Any attention and awareness they can raise will benefit the people of east Palestine in the long run.

That is a byproduct of the intent.

Best explanation of why they needed to blow those tanks and burn the vinyl chloride. Potentially over a million billion gallons of water going down the Ohio and Mississippi would be unusable if only one had lost its load 😲😡

“The EPA established a drinking water safety limit of .025 parts per billion (one-fortieth of a billion) for vinyl chloride. In other words, it takes 40 billion gallons of water to dilute one gallon of vinyl chloride before its concentration is considered sufficiently low to be used for drinking water. For reference, the Ohio River, which passes just just 20 miles south of the accident, carries 180 billion gallons of water each day. A typical train tank car can hold more than 31,000 gallons. Thus, if just one of the cars containing vinyl chloride were to spill into the Ohio River, it would be sufficient to render 1,240,000 billion gallons undrinkable. More than 5 million people rely on the Ohio River as a source of drinking water.”

So why were they haphazardly carrying such massive quantities to begin with. If it's so environmentally hazardous that it spells doomsday for basically the Ohio river, Mississippi river and a large portion of the gulf then it probably shouldn't be transported in such massive quantities in standard rail tanks. Smaller or segmented heavier-duty tanks would be logical. By heavy duty I mean 140% of the maximum potential damage caused by a derailment. That has the potential to pollute 1.24 Quadrillion gallons (1,240,000,000,000,000)
