Shame on me for not updating. She buffed out nice. The sides weren't bad. Only the rear ramp door was extremely oxidized and dull. Weird. Must have been parked where it took full sun? Different metal used? I dunno.
My son put two coats on the floor. We also added 4 more 6,000# recessed d-ring tie downs.
Today we added lights. 4 LED 8' tubes. Overkill? Probably. I don't think we will need to add exterior lights now. Haha! Seems as though exterior lighting is a pain. The other racers said if you are leaning over a truck you block the light and cast a shadow. May as well have a headlamp for $10-15 and call it good.
Next we wired in 4 outlets. We can use these for floor lights if needed. Crockpots with goodies plugged in is always nice. Recharge batteries on trucks and power tools. Outlets are good to have in these trailers given how they are used. 4 in the front. 4 in the rear.
Next on the agenda is building some shelving in the front. I have no need for cabinets. Enclosed trailer specific products are outrageous. Maybe I'll find some on marketplace or something. I can add a couple of I get them for free or really cheap. I'm not dropping $300-500 in cabinets like some guys do. Heck naw.
Pictures from the outside looking at the lights crack me up. My brother asked if I was building a mobile grow trailer for weed.
. The one from the rear was taken 20-30yds away. Pretty decent idea of how much light is exuding.
