ESPN reports Urban Meyer on paid administrative leave

Yeah. Such is the hazard of the written vs spoken word. I suppose that's why the phrase is said as "reading between the lines" not hearing. Problem never occurs in conversation.
Yes sir! Enjoyed this one with ya. I thought it was a lost cause earlier, until I realized you didn’t give a shit either way, just a debate. Gave me something to do. TV didn’t even get turned back on after I went on my deer drive. 😂

Dude I could honestly give two shits about urban, the findings, or who beat up who. But I do love a damn good debate. That's why hunting a white oak flat is baiting and the 870 is a piece of shit with the safety in the wrong spot. 😂

Yeah, you were sticking to key words. Took me a minute to see it, but once I did, I was all in. Had nothing else to do and no one told us to shut up. 😂

Once it could’ve got taken offensive, I gave you ways to explain yourself before butts started hurting. Seems like a good place to stop before everyone hates us both. Lmao

I'm tagging out. I like Redhunter. If I keep reading his shit I'm going to assume he is "one of those" kind of Mich fans. I don't want to feel that way about him. lol

Joe? He won't lose an argument. Even when he isn't right. He won't lose. lol
Awww, thanks Phil.🤣🤣

I love to needle you guys. Lord knows my team doesnt give me any bragging rights.

Not the same thing bud. I choose my words quite carefully to avoid such accusations. A difference of opinion does not make one ignorant or incompetent. The words ignorant and incompetent are not synonyms for denialist. Those words imply someone is mentally defective and incapable. The same for imbecil. A denialist is completely capable and mentally sound but for whatever reason or agenda they have makes a conscious decision not to accept facts.

exactly.

the facts is, after an exhaustive, perhaps even thorough, investigation, the investigatory parties' findings were such that Coach gets to keep his job along with a deserved slap on the nuts (three game suspension is a bit more than a slap on the wrist, imo) for being stupid enough to keep Zach Smith around as long as he did. so who here is in denial?

Winner winner chicken dinner!!!

It also boils down to what degree of punishment he deserved. Some wanted him to be fired and branded as a guy who takes domestic abuse lightly and others felt he wasn’t that way and a suspension and drug through the mud was enough. I still feel that Zach being EB’s grandson and there being NO official charges against Zach that we’re upheld and the police already aware of the situation were influences that delayed UM decision to terminate Zach and the trespassing charge was the last straw.

Are you assuming im advocating that he should have been fired? I've never stated if i believe the punishment was adequate or inadequate. I simply stated that the findings proved exactly what the accusations were. 1. He knew. 2. He didn't act appropriately in an effort to keep him. They simply decided not to fire him for it and suspend him instead. Just because someone received a lesser sentence than the death penalty does not vindicate them.

I'm simply pointing that a lot of people are acting like he was somehow vindicated or innocent since he didn't get fired and only suspended. Almost as if they have the mentality of "we won" like its the OSU vs Michigan game. A lot of people even attempt to use the validity of the committee to back up there stance. The problem with that is the committee found the original accusations to be true. And said so. The university simply decided to suspend him for it instead of firing him. Now if Urban did not go and delete his text messages the day the news broke prior to handing his phone over who knows what the outcome may have been. At the end of the day the university did what they needed to do to make it look like they were impartial in the investigation. Once they receive the findings they said about trying to figure out how they could spin it to keep their coach. Even going so far as to make excuses on his behalf regarding his "misstatements" during media days.

The only thing I'm advocating for is let's be intellectually honest and agree that the only reason that man kept his job is because he has a .901 winning percentage, beats Michigan every year, and gets them within shot of a title each year. Because Lord knows it is not because he did a fantastic job as a manager when his staff was taking dick pics in the White House and various University buildings, or blowing tons of money with High School coaches at strip clubs on recruiting trips, or even beating their wife.

Who are the ‘lots of people acting like he was vindicated or innocent’? I’m in the crowd that given the circumstances the university policy is stupid so I could care less if he knew or not since the police and AD did.

None of that has ever happened on an SEC team. Lordy knows it NEVER happened at Bama U. Just because it’s unfounded or not reported doesn’t mean it’s never happened, right Joe?

It’s like the DEMS saying damn all the Rep all to hell for all these sins and lewd behavior cuz we’re above that and it never happens on our side of the aisle. 😂

FUNNY GUY YOU ARE😂😂😂😂
