If you have a farmer co-op like Town & Country or something similar nearby, it might worth your time to go there first. Ask if they have Jerry Oats or Canadian Oats... You want a cold-hearty oat variety. Unless you're buying discounted expired seed at TSC, the co-op oats will be cheaper.
