So what's everyones camo of choice??? Last night I went online with the intention of buying a set of ASAT, however the prices were up there, so I passed for now.. My brother bought ASAT years ago and at first I had my doubts...Then I saw how well he blended in, either in a tree or on the ground... Stuff really work's... I'm surprised its not marketed as much as other companies... But most of my camo is bought at Walmart... Good enough to get torn up in the woods crossing a barb wire fence etc....

Quick true story... Several years ago we were in Iowa hunting at an outfitter... At the same time there was a major camo company in camp filming a hunt for advertising reasons... My brother shot a giant... It scored 163 and weighed 285 dressed... He was wearing ASAT when he shot the deer... The camo company gave him a set of camo to wear and keep... They then took pics with "their camo on" and did an interview...

They’d be passing out camo too everyone in camp in that case.... Price of doing business....

Always been partial to realtree, just like their patterns I guess. Mostly Walmart stuff here as well. You can score some killer deals at the end of the season when they’re trying to clear the shelves.

The cheapest Realtree shit I can find online is what I tend to go for.

My winter gear is what I spent my heavy dollars on.

I have a Body Heater Suit and these below that I love for those colder conditions...

Military surplus multicam... I’ve been using it for years and it works. As I’ve grown in recent years, I’m growing out of them though and thinking about moving to Sitka. I like quality that I can count on in my gear. Sure the cheap stuff works, but it’s hard to make up for comfort and reliability you get with the good stuff. Probably just end up replacing my multicam with larger sizes...but I like the Sitka gear.

I love the Predator Camo. I have a set of insulated bibs that I wear that seemingly make me invisible any time I wear them. So many patterns are so dark that from a distance they just seem to be one color. One other pattern I like is the Vertigo, not even sure if it's available anymore. The ASAT has a Facebook page where they do clearance sales now and then if you are looking for something.

Warmer weather I still have the dream season stuff in mossy oak tree stand and can’t remember the early season color name.
Once it gets cool enough I wear Cabelas outfitter camo. I have the wooltimate jacket and pants. Very warm and quiet. Depends on how cold to how many layers I wear underneath.

Something to think about with any camo is the UV die. Don’t by anything with the UV die that enhances color. It will glow to deer. Besides that, I really don’t think pattern is all that. Ever seen Brock get all dressed up in his Sunday hunting clothes? 😂 He consistently gets mature deer in front of him. His buddy isn’t much different and also has great luck.

This also says something about your laundry detergent. Most have UV crap in them to enhance color.

I don’t use this product and never have, but it gives a solid explanation of what I’m talking about.
