I don't really have a favorite, but I frequent
Walmart
Cabela's
BassPro
Don't go there but we have a big Field and Stream within 10 mins of my work and home - used to before they went woke
I guess in my heart I'm a Cabela's guy
I just went to the cabela's in WV last week for the first time - my dick is still hard.

I think my perfect retirement plan would be to have a used outdoor gear store. We all progress and grow sideways. Be cool to have a place to go buy/sell/trade your outdoor gear. Like my old military surplus stores. Only for hunting and fishing needs. We all have old junk we never use anymore laying around. Be pretty neat to be able to pile it up and put it toward something you would use.

Man I miss going into a good surplus store. There were two we would go to now and then growing up. Both are gone now. Dad always did good on supplying me with Army supplies as a kid from the base but the surplus stores always had those extra things you needed to blow up your buddies.
Aint gonna lie, I miss the smell.

Favorite store in Ohio, Bridgeport equipment in Marietta! It’s a man’s Disney land
I hadn't been in a bunch of years and went again yesterday. Hands down the best store ever. Can not beat the prices either. I am happy it is a 3 hour drive away. Helps me not splurge more often.

Likely the best selection in ohio for FR clothing also. A pair of pants that cost me $130 in cincy cost $100. $160 long sleeve shirt in cincy was $120. I spent enough money that jesse sent me a thank you text😂. BUT, I saved a bunch and it was 100% worth the drive on such a nice day.

I used to stop in there every once in a while on my way to Logan. They have a pretty good selection of hard to find ammo. With the variety of stuff they sell, it’s also a good spot to get some Xmas shopping done. (I would typically be there first and second week of November).

Locally, I prefer Fin Feather Fur Outfitters for most hunting and fishing supplies. For trapping supplies, my go-to is Molnar Outdoor in Elyria… they have literally anything you could want, and usually in-stock.

My favorite store of anywhere, though, has to be Frank’s Great Outdoors in Linwood, MI. The selection and prices are almost impossible to beat.

A close second would be Scheel’s in Minneapolis.
