The short answer is no. Almost all deer taken back there is with archery gear. The shot is quiet, the buck will run a little bit out of the feed area and the does go back to feeding after a moment or so. A lot will depend if the buck is really chasing the does agressively or not. If so, they might just leave for the night. That free corn is some powerful stuff.
