First Annual TOO Group Deer hunt.

Not sure if you've been to that kroger lately, but as soon as you walk in on your right(next to star bucks) is a little beer section where you build your own six pack. Bad ass

Not sure who is rolling in first tomorrow, but im going to be out that direction a good chunk of the day and will be stopping by.

If a couple of you guys want to text me your numbers and who you are, itll come in handy at some point.

If anyone gets lost, forgets something, needs a hand, etc. give me a ring. I live about 15 minutes away.

I have confirmed we do have a place to donate deer about a 20 minute drive from camp. We can work things out on getting them there, but I'm fine will loading what we have in my truck and dropping them off Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

Ric, You and maybe Adam.... He hasn't really commited yet but I'm saving it for him if he wants it..... :smiley_coolpeace: If you know of anyone else we can start a waiting list.... :smiley_clap: Waiting you say? Yeah for the highest bidder..... Sorta like a cabin EBAY...... rotflmao

Got all your guys stuff.

My Durango is going to look like the Beverly Hillbilly's coming down the road. Somebody pay for the blonde to ride along!

There are a couple of regualr campsites right beside the camper-cabins that have little "car port" type shelter. If they aren't filled, it may be a good idea to pitch tents under them for extra shelter. If that doesn't work, a big blue tarp over the top of your tent will do wonders to keep you dry and a bit warmer. Used that trick in NM with overnight lows around 20 degrees and 50 mph wind gusts...worked out pretty good considering the conditions!

I'm bringing a bail of hay and a rake. Adds padding, keeps away moisture, and insulates against the cold ground.

Really good people there.

They have a nice big walk-in cooler and freezer

She makes some killer summer sausage from my deer each year. They have been doing our deer for many many years.

Happy to see them involved with the donation program.

Good idea for the guy's on the ground.... Anyone else have semi-cold weather camping hints????

Mine is, if it's raining and you're stuff is in a tent.... Don't let anything touch the tenting material.... Depending on the material it'll wick the water too it and soak it until it can't soak no more..... Learned that one the hard way..... A few times.... :smiley_confused_vra

There are a few processors closer to the house but Wood Rd does all of our deer processing. Jack and Sharon are top-notch!

You guys may have answered this, sorry if I missed it...are the camper cabins needed for tomorrow night?
