First Muzzy Buck

Thanks everyone. For those of you who do not know, my dad (sorry for giving out this info dad) is 74. He gets around the woods like a 18 year old. I can only hope to be still doing what he does at 74. He sits with my kids a lot to give me alone time in the stand. Or we will divide the kids up. He is a huge help! Helps scout, hang stands, put in plots when we are able, checks cameras, etc...

When I get the head back (I caped it to give to the taxidermist as a favor) I will get a pick of him and I with it. Hopefully the nose resumes its normal shape by then.

I always enjoy reading your posts that include your dad, especially the ones where your boys have put a deer down and he was sitting with them when they done it. That's a fine buck Mike but the experience of you sharing it with your dad is even finer. Congrats on a great buck and an eventful season.

Got him back today. Really pleased with it. The taxi estimated him at 3 1/2. I can't help but wonder what he may have become, but I'm still glad to have him. He tastes good too!

I know I was in his core area after passing on him during bow season and seeing him more than once. So, there was a good chance id see him again this year.
