Any ideas for your favorite fish batter? We usually do ours somewhat homemade using seasoned breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese and maybe some seasonings. Dip in egg, then breading and fry in butter. I thought I saw someone post a creole or cajun batter that was store bought too?

Pancake mix, one egg, and a can of beer. I normally pour in about 3/4 of beer in to make it lil thick so it stick to fish without falling apart. Get apple mash to dip it in with. Top notch 👍🏽

My go to is Zatarains crispy southern fish fry with Andy's cajun mixed in to your taste. It's a really light, but crispy finish that doesnt hide the tase of the fish and soak up oil. It just compliments it with that fried flavor. Take fillets from water and roll right in the dry batter and fry. I recommend cutting fillet up in smaller, angled chunks to get some crispy edges. Unless your going for presentation, then leave whole

Tried the Andy’s Cajun tonight along with the Parmesan/bread crumbs for the family and all I can say is I’m definitely a fan of the Andy’s!! Great recommendation! Definitely will look at trying some of these others too.
