Fluteman's Trail Camera Fotos

Flutie, Flutie, he's our man, if he can't do it, Katie can!

I am sorry man, I couldn't resist. I hope you both tag dandies this year! You are one of the hardest working hunters on here. It is time for you to shine! Looks like early season might be your best friend this year. If not, there are plenty of bucks running your area so hopefully the rut is good to you!

Thanks for the encouragement fellas. I know my time is coming, when, I do not know, but I can live with that. Almost every year since I first picked up a bow, I've been blessed with opportunity at a nice buck. As it seems my destiny, I have never been fortunate enough to connect. It use to really weigh on me and cause me to question my ability, but I have finally come to terms with the way things seem to be.

I know one day, I will connect on a nice deer, and that victory will be so sweet, I'm not sure how I will contain myself. I want you all to know I appreciate your support and encouragement. It sure helps keep an unlucky SOB like me in the game!

That a great attitude Greg! It's not a question of IF it will happen, but a question of WHEN it will happen.:smiley_coolpeace:

Figured with the cooler temperatures yesterday, that last night would be ideal for deer watching. Decided to go sit in one of my observation stands overlooking the beans, and had a great evening. Watched four bucks and a doe feed for the last half hour of daylight, one of them being the tall eight I posted a video of a few pages back. I'm starting to get a better idea of where these deer are coming from, and I hope the pattern continues and the beans stay green through the first few weeks of bow season. I haven't talked it over with Kate yet, but I decided last night as long as the tall eight sticks around, I am going to try and get her on him early season. He's almost identical to the buck she shot last year, and I think he would make a nice addition to the trophy room.

Gonna get out Monday and move a couple cams based on what I've been seeing. I need to get out and watch a couple other places and try to get them pinpointed also. I'll tell you, sitting in a treestand last night put a big smile on my face, as it reminded me of just what was around the corner. Low 60's, a nice breeze out of the SW; sounds like a great end of September evening.

Today's Latest...

The tall eight is still hanging around. Based on the pictures I'm getting, he must be staying pretty close too. Check out the times.

Also got pictures of Stickers, but they aren't the greatest. Had the camera angled down a little too far and didn't get good flash exposure. I repositioned the camera today in hopes of better pics.

Here's another crappy pic. This one is of the Fork buck which I posted the Spypoint video of a week or so ago. Not a bad buck

Cool fawn pic

Look at Splits' end of his left main beam. Wonder what is going to become of that.

BT looks like he's trying to grow an extra point on the end of that right beam.

Neat little goofy rack buck

And my second coyote pic of the year.

I moved three cams today to try and get some more adequate pictures without being intrusive. I believe I am finally starting to get a firm grasp on deer movement on one property, after three years of chasing my tail. I'm starting to get impatient for deer season to get here, because I want so badly to make it happen this year. I am more psyched and already more prepared than I have in any previous season. If I don't booger things up before September 29th gets here, I fully expect to have an excellent season!

Wow... the 8 is moving around in front of your cams during the lunch hour.... Yea, I'd say he's bedding close by.

Decided to check the cams this evening as the storms passed through.

I've decided to call this deer Pitchfork
