Food, what are you eating?

Yall know this is the healthy thread, right? Lol
Oh, shoot, Thanksgiving to New Years is the hardest time of year. That was our 19 year anniversary cake. Just maintaining and fasting in-between the junk is my only goal until all the parties are finished. I'll do some extra push ups and split a little more wood today to work it off.....

Yeah it’s tough this time of year lol

I gained 3#'s just looking at the pictures 😆

I had never been into a Meijers store before today. One of our friends sent a text to Kristi that they had Prime Rib for $9.99/lb., so I thought WTH, I'll go up and get one. I didn't realize that it was CAB and that they would sell me the whole primal side. So, I got one and Kristi went up and got one and I am sending the girls up to get some TOO. They also have New York strip roast for $8.99/lb.! Anyhow, 45 lbs. of prime rib so far and 15 lbs. of NY Strip will keep me busy cutting and vacuum sealing this weekend. We will probably have to buy some more bags for the vacuum sealer since we will keep buying until the sale is over on the 24th! LOL

There’s a meijers in Boardman and the wife likes to stop in whenever we’re up. When we lived in Columbus there was one on Sawmill Rd that we’d go to.
We just picked up a 6lb standing rib roast for Xmas dinner.

I’m off the rails this month food wise, but will get back on track after the new years. Garbage in garbage out…… 🤢

We made the switch to carnivore 2 years ago in September, and neither of us plan on ever changing due to how good we feel. This started out as a 30-day trial and has turned into a lifestyle. We have both had people say that they could never do it, don't you miss veggies, ice cream, fruit etc... ? The reality is, that although we may miss some of that stuff (ice cream and chocolate), we definitely don't miss feeling like shit. Few of our friends believed that neither of us have cheated either, but we haven't. Many of our friends are now asking questions and some are actually trying to eliminate at least some of the carbs and sugars after seeing our weight loss and finding out how good we are both feeling.

I am now down over 50 lbs., and Kristi is down 65 lbs. We have donated a LOT of clothing in the past year.
