Congratulations. Its a fine thing Laura and you are doing for him...

How soon will his legs be long enough to reach the pedals on the mowers?

Well it is official guys, "Little River Dude" is now ours. Went to court this morning and we were granted legal custody and the sad thing is his mother never even showed up for the hearing. She has lost all right to supervised visitation due to her drug addition and failing her drug test. She has 14 days to appeal but the judge said not to worry. Next step will take some time (up to one year) for legal adoption.

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.

That just made my day! Glad it worked out for everyone! You done good!

Laura took Little River Dude to Chucky Cheese to celebrate getting legal custody. Next is the legal adoption, then he is ours. I could not go,
had to work.

Awesome. I like Chuckie Cheese. Pizza are really good and the games are easy.

So the teaching him how TOO use the chainsaw is not a good idea? Heck he will be 5 in August. :smiley_crocodile: I am just kidding guys.

Going take him out and sit in the blind this weekend.

Hey Guys, just thought I would give ya all an update on "Little River Dude". He is doing great, took him out hunting (Kind Of ) in the blind, got him a kids shaving kit because he wants to shave like me and last night he started his first swimming lessons at the YMCA. Been trying to post pictures but having a problem. Hope to post some soon.
