That buddy is now the president of the company, Jim. Just saw him last month. We attended another buddies retirement ceremony.

I’m on y 8th season with it and no plans on replacing it. Still works as advertised and all zippers and fasteners work like new.

Mine is still functional, but I did replace it with the First Lite Transfer pack when they had them marked down 40% in September. I wanted a single pack solution for my mobile setup, and the Eberlestock version I wanted, didn't seem like it was worth the additional $. But the XOP version of the GPG pack is a great choice assuming the quality hasn't declined. It's a great pack.

Same. I don’t use my GPG pack very often these days, but it’s held up very well and is still 100% as functional as the day I bought it. I’d definitely recommend this pack @Isaacorps. I really like it… I’ve just gone to more of a minimalistic approach over the last few seasons and use a smaller pack.
