Black Chubby struck again yesterday. This was a practice run for Fathers day. My Dad wants chicken on the smoker for Fathers day, so I decided I would practice a bit before hand. I bought a pack of drum sticks and two pack of breasts. I trimmed, cleaned and brined the breasts. Seasoned them and wrapped in bacon. I also seasoned the drum sticks and hung them on a leg rack. Fired up the smoker and away we go:
250 degrees smoked with Pecan wood.
They turned out pretty good. The beer was flowing and the music was loud. Pretty good day in all. Gunner had a good time as well as his fair share of the chicken and beer.
