Got my arm dipped!

The remote Lanc Controller is awesome! By far a must when filming, you can zoom and manual focus with just your thumb. Theres several different brands out there like vera zoom, manfrotto, and several others.

Rgecko- The guys I help film for are sponsored by them and my buddies farm that I hunt in Indiana works for them so its just a small world

The manfrotto is the one I was looking at, and the one you appear to have also, correct? Looks like I know what I'm asking Santa for Christmas.

Looks good Rutin. I like it. Tarjac did a couple euro skull mount dips for me over the past few years. Same dip and procedures they use on Ten Point Crossbows.

I wanna get my arm dipped too. But I cant decide if I want to dip my bow arm or my draw arm, and should I just go to the elbow or all the way to my shoulder?

Question about the dipping (kinda off topic).

How does the dip work? Diablo and i had this convo today. It seems like once you pull the arm or bow, etc out of the dip it would smear. Hoes does the process work?

In short basic terms... You clean and degrease what your dipping if it needs it, then cut your film and put it in your dunk tank. Once you let it sit for a min. you spray it with and accelerator/adhesive that will bond to anything! Then let it sit for a min. and you'll see the film start spreading out. In my case, you dip the armslowly down through the film until everything is covered and then splash it back and forth to clear the other film from sticking to it when removing it. At this point it is very slimmy and "Could" smear but not bad. You put it into a low pressure water curtain to was the residue off and clean it up after the chemical change. Then they put there products into a dryer at 180 degrees just to dry them up faster and semi bake it on. The DIY home kits you can just let hang and dry. Its a pretty impressive process, I know theres several videos on Youtube and the DIY home kit is only $99.

That's a pretty long and impressive process. I'm gonna have to look on youtube when i get home. Where would ya get different camo pattern films? And how do camo patterns form inside the film?

The film looks like a sheet of paper. They print the graphics out with the film. It's a pretty interesting process to watch. There is a video on YouTube from American Chopper where they did a bike in Max-1. Search for it, they do a pretty good job explaining it.
