Forgot to post for my buddy. He has a friend that got granted permission by the guy who’s property I used to hunt there in Ohio. Kind of gave him the rundown and the inventory that I knew was still around for this year. Gave some tips and advice to him and he took off from there. My buddy and him took all spring and summer getting ready with feeders plots and all! As this summer progressed he began to pattern a real nice 8pt that I knew to be 3.5/4.5 this year and was a great up and comer. I had actually passed the buck last year opening morning working a scrape 15 yards from me!! Anywho, this deer put on about 10/12 inches this year! Well needless to say I won’t drag this out any longer but right at last light, on opener, he presented a shot at 22 yards and he took his last breathe. Congrats to the guy for all the hard work and dedication, and congrats on his biggest buck yet!
