2009 - 2010 Youth Weekend = 9,269
2010 - 2011 Youth Weekend = 8,627
2011 - 2012 Youth Weekend = 8,867
2012 - 2013 Youth Weekend = 9,178
2013 - 2014 Youth Weekend = 6,645

Although the past 4 youth seasons were relatively flat. The bottom fell out this year with about a 26% drop against the average of the past 4 seasons.

But it was kinda cold, and there was wind blowing, and there's still a lot of corn up, and the acorn crop was not as good, , and squirrel counts are down through their 7 years cyclical trend, and the past weekend fell on a weekend which makes it difficult for some people to get out, and Saturday was senior day at the Horseshoe, and the Browns / Steelers game was played Sunday, and it's been determined that woodchucks don't actually chuck any of the wood since they cannot even possibly chuck wood in the first place.
Lmao not that had too come straight from odnr website and that's about what they are going to try and feed us. I bet gun week will be down 25% at least.

if I had to guess, I'd say in the neighborhood of 71,000 to 72,000. And even that is too many.

Mt son works at a fast food place. He said most of the hunters that he has seen come in tell him they haven't been seeing anything. The guys at work who hunt say the same thing. It all sounds familiar. I don't care about the weather, how many hunters are out, the crops, acorns... There aren't as many deer out there. If you don't see them you cant shoot them.

Even if I had a gun in my hands all season, I still would have still only had a handful of shot opportunities. It's that bad around here.

After seeing the weather forecast , it won't be above 70 k IMHO

Is that your bid for $1 like on the Price is Right?

BTW, I hope you're right. The rest of the hunting community, that might not be quite as in tune with things as the community here, needs a wake up. Seeing numbers in that range would make people start to ask questions.
