Gun Season 2020

Skunked today, I have no issue with giving people some leeway but I heard 3 separate shots 15 minutes after light
I’ve done it when I was younger...not by a lot but I hunted until I couldn’t see...sometimes that was 5-10 minutes after legal time. Today I’m a stickler for the rules, this week in Ohio with the snow cover you could see well after legal shooting light, but getting one that way would bother me. I only heard one shot after legal time this week, so that’s not too bad.

Had a good week so far despite the early bad weather. The deer in my spot haven't been pressured much and seemed to be on a routine more like early November. I messed up on a nice

Saw 1 button buck while driving today. Sat this evening saw nothing but squirrel. My 9 year old though, insisted on hunting on his own (fully capable & on private land). I escorted him to his stand of choosing, harnessed of course (Muddy Yourh— love it) and got him securely in place, he raised his own gun properly and sat until dark. We have been discussing management on our farm and neighbors, we mostly agree. He’s already shot a doe during youth. So he sent me a text video of a doe at 10 yards! I told him antlers only at this point to maintain a doe herd and instill some patience and discipline. Still pic from video vvv. Good luck this weekend. I’m going back to work tomorrow.

Locked, cocked, n ready to rock!

Well, guns not loaded yet. Which is today's friendly reminder: Ensure you load a round at legal time. Never fun to pull the trigger, for it to only go click lol.

I forgot Weds AM until 20mins in. Dont act like you haven't done it lol.

not off to the start I was hoping for. Deer running around before daylight very cruchy. I'll run into them later walking out unless other deer get them up.
