Happy new year, i hope everyone stayed safe last night.

Getting rid of some brush and scrap from where i tore out the stalls and old chicken coop in my barn.

Think I'm gonna light a cigar and relax for a bit then I'm not sure what I'm going to do next.

My brother sighted in his two muzzleloaders for next weekend.

Ours are down and boxed up, just gotta put em in storage…. I always tie the tree out in the wood line and let the birds have at it for roosting/ nesting. Then burn it in the fall….

Happy New Years to all you TOOzers. We all slept in after two straight late nights, then enjoyed a leisurely morning of coffee and cinnamon rolls. Girls are enjoying their new space downstairs while Tracie naps and I work on my 2023 goals/personal plan. I've gotten fairly lax with some of my personal processes and am taking steps to get back on the right track.

Late night last night but up early and hit the weight room this morning..gonna try and stay on task with that this year 4 or 5 days a week.

Had good intentions of replacing a light fixture or working on some firewood. Turned the TV on. Yellowstone was on episode 2 season 5. How convenient. That is where I left off. Looks like I'll catch up. I've spent enough time working to end the year. I'm taking a Sunday afternoon to be lazy. Work awaits tomorrow. Maybe that should be my resolution: Work when you need to do work. Don't forget to take a moment for yourself and your family. Life is short. Happy New Year all!

After 3 years of waiting and procrastination...I sprung out of bed bright and early. Punched 2023 in the mouth and got busy. Did a trip up and around and tied up some loose ends. Just got back home. 12 hours of driving and almost 2 tanks of fuel. Truck full of stuff that needed moved. Seen a bunch of folks today. Some blood family and some TOO family. I'm ready to continue this trend of doing things like the old days. I'm done "waiting" it is time to go and start making memories with those we have left.

Yessir, spending time with family is the goal this year. Yesterday Allen and I headed to the driving range to hit a few balls. Him with his new set of clubs from Xmas and me with the old family set. Both hit well enough for not swinging clubs in a while and enjoyed the ribbing we gave each other here and there. Us 3 then went to watch Avatar, long Fing movie.... almost a 2 pisser, and then a late dinner at Outback. Thank goodness for gift cards LOL!! Back to reality today but already looking forward to hitting a couple balls again Saturday before we take him back to school. Enjoy the New Year fellas!
