It would make a solid reloading bench. I built a topper from oak that I purchased at Menards and use carriage bolts to attach it to a Black & Decker Workmate. This comes in handy for reloading in the winter, because it folds down and I can bring it in the house. It also allows me to take it to a friend's house to demonstrate how to reload, if they're just getting started and/or are interested in doing so.
If I purchase this workbench, I'll probably attach my reloading press to it and put the B&D Workmate in storage.
Does it come assembled? I’m sure if I read through the description I could find out. My wife and have bought several tables and benches, desk; etc from ikea, then doctor them up with wood tops, legs, wood glue, metal brackets, etc. It’s nice because it’s cheap and once you’re done with it you can just throw it out or repurpose the stronger pieces.
