Hims prolly went to bed right before you posted this but I’ll gladly answer for hims. He kilt a smallish 167” scab with hims black widow during an exciting hunt last season.

First night of my life I dreamed of a buck already harvested by someone else! And that was after not being able to get to sleep thinking of that trophy and just being excited for Mr. Boarhead!

Well Mr. Giles, once you recover from COVID you will be either catching a giant fish through the ice or shooting a monster turkey this spring if the COVID to trophy thing holds true! But first I must prove it so I am taking my flinchlock for a walk today regardless of the heavy snow we got where I hunt and regardless of the frigid wind chills. I just hope to get 2/3rds to 3/4rs as fortunate as Mr. Boarhead! Dang! I'm so happy for him!

Here is something ironic for those who don't know.... I killed my first deer EVER 45 years ago (when there were very few deer) on the same property where Brian killed this one. So it made it pretty special to follow along. I can't tell you how many Rabbits and Pheasants died under our dogs on this same property. Pretty neat to see this producing that many years later..... Congrats Again Brian! You're proof that all legends do not make it to TV. (And I don't want ya to be either).

My oh my, he looks big in the pics…but seeing him in person is unreal

Here 2 amazing facts on this deer! Only 2.5" difference on his side to side 5x5 frame and this buck was 140's last year!
Just had him scored today he ended up grossing 197-3/8 and net was 194 -6/8.
He was very symmetrical. Had 15-3/8 inches of non typical points which are pretty dang cool they give him character. Like Ric said this buck was only around 145 inches last season.. amazing growth.
