home pistol question

Opinions please.

Current home defense pistola is p320 ‐ not happy with the increasing number of issues and trainers not allowing them on the line secondary to issues.

Role - home defense (when long gun is not available/ needed) will live in a battle belt. Occasional to rare carry, range and class use. Prefer softer shooting so the wife doesn't hate it.

Primary ccw - p365 OG size

Initially i was looking into fn 509, 365 macro xl, fn reflex xl, etc. I'm also debating putting an optic (rmr) on it. Shot a few at a range yesterday.

365 axg legion - fits my hand, shot well if i drive the gun, slide release and i didn't get along

365 xl - snappy enough my wife wouldn't like it, the metal frame of the legion really does mitigate it (along with the comp)

mp 2.0 metal - had a vortex rmr and i shot the gun exceptionally well and the only dislike was had to slightly adjust for slide release and the trigger reset i would need to learn

i can't find the FNs anywhere to shoot. Glock grip angle and i disagree.

Thoughts?
leaning towards the mp for to price and i shot it well at this time.

Man I think it all comes down to what’s a good fit for you. My hand size is small so my EDC is a P365X no optic. I wish I had went without the safety because sometimes in quick draw drills I found myself hitting the safety up. I have a Hellcat in my nightstand with an optic and I love the ergonomics but I can’t get used to the optic. Works better to bring the gun up close to your face to acquire a sight picture then out. I’ve not fired the MP metal but it has great reviews. Sig, MP, SA, I would trust my life with any of them reliability wise.
