This would partially (or mostly) explain the dip in fawn numbers I’ve observed this year. It appears these 3 are running together quite a bit. I’ve enlisted the help of @OO2 to set some snares after deer season to try and thin these suckers out. Until then I’ll hope for some sightings within range while hunting. Bastards 🤬

Problem with a rifle is that you can usually only reach one. Shotgun and in a thicket you can get multiple. I know a guy with a badass caller and a thermal...his good buddy also has a few shotguns🤣

Snares are much easier. They're hunting while you're sleeping.

Agreed. Drag a roadkill into a thick brushy area and throw a bunch of leaves and sticks over it. Kneel down and look for pathways to get to it. Set a dozen snares in the various pathways in a circle around it about 20 yards and block off any other spots. You'll have all three in a week or so. Maybe all at once.
