Hunting season 2025

I was just outside and realized I needed to get my hunting license lol. Glad I remembered because I’m sure I’ll get checked tomorrow.
Did the same last year when I came up to deer hunting. The first morning I woke up and while drinking coffee I remembered I didn’t get my tag yet. Good luck we can online!
I thought about going out just to piss people off and bump my squirrel count early

I'll be hunting squirrels in the morning. Shot the 22 and it's shooting awesome , so no excuse for missing but me .

4 of us hunted public this morning. Got 11 squirrels. Not much moving after 930 or probably would have shot more . Was a great time with friends and family.
Buddy got two and missed one. I had a miss. Still was a great time!

Quick evening outing with a couple buddies. Lost a couple to the corn and beans, but otherwise a reasonable evening
Haven’t shot this thing in over two years. Squirrels teasing me in the yard so I said fuck it lol. All the traditional archers on here and the videos of the Wensel brothers got me in the mood. If I hurt my shoulders I don’t care lol. Just missed one by a fraction. Fletching buzzed right across his shoulder. When it’s in ya it’s in ya!

Yes sir! 50# at 28 inch my draw is 29.5 so it’s heavy. I was younger bought in mid 90’s. Beautiful bow. Red elm limbs clear glass some kind of African hard wood riser. Wish it was a 30 pounder.

Wife’s real happy with me right now lol. I’m going to continue shooting it and I’m thinking the crossbow is staying on the hook this year. It’s light as a feather to carry compared to that heavy crossbow.
he's so pumped but I don't think there's a dove within a mile of us right now. Hopefully he gets to fire a few off.
