I know something

It's been raining on & off all evening around Central Ohio... hope they were able to keep on the trail. Good luck fellas!

well.....

I guess I'm gonna have to post my own sleepless night thread.

We found the arrow, It was a pass through but the guy ran for at least 150 yards before it came out. I have lighted nocks but the nock was covered in blood and we didnt even see after walking oast it twice. The baffeling part is, other than the blood that was next to the arrow, we couldnt find a single drop anywhere else. It looks like he headed into a really thick brushy area and it was just too dark to see anything. I am also thinking a liver hit so we decided bast to back out for now. with lows in the upper thirties tonight he should be ok

I will start a thread in a minute and tell the first part of the story, hopefully it has a happy ending in the morning.

Yep.. Looks like liver to me. He'll run balls to the wall for 200-300 yards and die.. I bet you'll find him in the AM.

Best of luck Dante. The cool weather is in your favor. Hopefully any rain holds off also. Keep us updated and keep your head up.brotha!

I told Dante to spine the next one so we don't have to track it in that hay field lmao.

I think we was close to him but given the thick underbrush and darkness we just couldn't see him. The other odd thing is he didn't stop at all to even look behind him. Like Joe said, He just ran like a mother fugger full bore and right into the woods that border the pasture. We will find him in the morning I think. I have a pretty good idea where he went.

Damn. I wish I wasn't pulling out to a show in the morning. I would load up Hank for a road trip. Shoot me a text when you find him Adam. I can't miss this show because it is our last one of the season and the trailer is already sitting on our spot.

Congrats and good luck Dante!

No worries Phil. We will get him. I will keep you updated via text tomorrow. Appreciate the thought of bringing in ol Hank.

Beener is going to come up in the morning and give us a hand as well so we should have plenty of eyes lookin.

Good luck...the fact that he ran balls out and didn't stop makes me think you smacked him pretty good. How big was he?
