I did, but I'm not happy with what the trail says. Gonna give her time and come back. Height was perfect, but it could have been back 3". Acting like a muscle hit. I think she's dead though.

Perfect height and back 3" does not equate to muscle... Give her a bit if you need to. Worst case if it's only a lil back is liver, and that works in a few hours. Good luck!

Hate to disappoint, but I lost my first deer with a bow since 2001. Only the second time ever and this time, it wasn't a tracking error. Playing the shot over in my head again, I'd have moved it maybe 2" back. She dropped and threw her lead shoulder back. It's almost like she caused the arrow to exit forward because at the angle she was at, I should have caught lungs. We tracked her close to a mile and she only laid down twice. We jumped a deer that snorted at us as we were running out of ground. She was nearly to the small town down the road from us. Going to track down the owners of the land where we lost her as I don't know them and search what's left of the wood lot in the morning, but I'm sure she'll live at this point.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! There is only one problem Josh, I don't shoot a Mathews.
