This keeps getting better for me. I apologize in advance if I'm over doing it. Not what I am trying to do. This is more for the antler enthusiasts. I'm thinking Ric,Ron, Rick, Brian. . . Plenty others out there as well who will find this interesting.
Found this shed 2 years ago in March 2014. Ric suggested comparing pedicles. I think they are very similar. 4" of mass at base in 2014 and 5" in 2016. Right g2 is actually longer on the 2014 shed than the 2016 buck but clearly some of his growth went into the drop tine this year. Last two years he had no drop. I passed last year when he was maybe 120-125". Net score this yar was 123". 136" gross to include the 8.75" drop. Only added an 1-1.5" to main beam in 2yrs. Just a few interesting facts. Now I am really wanting to get him aged. I thought 3.5yr old this year or possibly 4. Last year I thought 2.5 with a "maybe" 3.5yr old possibility. Confirming this shed is his makes me think he is older. No way he was 1.5yr old when he dropped this shed. Just a few things I found fascinating.

Good stuff Phil. Can you post any pics of his bottom jaw teeth? Mainly from the top to show amount of wear... Exposed dentine versus width of enamel...
Doubt it. Not sure I can get them pried open. Maybe tomorrow I'll have one of my guys take a pic while I pull the lips back.
Doing a shoulder mount or a Euro? If euro, just take a knife and slice the cheek back toward the rear of the jaw. If shoulder mount, nevermind... It'll be tough to get a decent pic.
Undecided at the moment. I'd like to have it mounted. Haven't had that conversation yet. I'm still eyeballing the house to see where I should hang him. All 4 are turned to the left. I'd like to have him looking right and put on the other side of my TV but that defeats the purpose of showing off the drop tine. Lol
