Why not do it in conjunction with the Waterfowlers Boot Camp. Same place in July. Lots of hunters already there.
I dont mind paying an admission fee. Can there be a "family rate"? Is it possible that we could find some instruction on better patterning and scouting for newbies like me. I can find a place that holds deer but being able to find the saddles, funnels, pinch points.... still eludes me.
Topic: Readng topo maps.
Hicks is going to bring three zero turns to auction off. How generous! lol
Why bother with the Cardinal Center than? Pick a weekend and lets all camp at a central State Park. Reserve a shelter on the park for free and we can do our classes from the shelters. All for free
Jesse, Not sure what Mr.Fishburn charges for the use of the Cardinal center but if it to much we have place just across 71 the I think you can rent.I could look into it if you like, I do a Trapping demo there every year for there youth weekend. They have a bow range, gun range a camp ground and 2 stocked catfish lakes.

To Far but Great Idea!
Best of luck folks!
Sounds like an awesome time and a great way for us to all get together and share knowledge. If I don't have anything planned I'd love to attend. It would be great if the date was set ASAP so's I can see what my schedule looks like.
How far is Marengo from C-bus? Takes me an 1.5 hours to get to I-270.
Ideas: shed exhibit, tips on finding them, dog training tips
Antler scoring, wildlife photography exhibit(curran comes to mind),
Hoot could show us how to knap flint, Diablo could learn me to shoot a recurve better
These are just a few .......
I hope I can make it! Sounds great.
