Its vacation time again. Who's doing what ?

Just spent a few days in panama city beach. Had a blast and hopefully we can take a margaritaville cruise later on.

Huntsville is a surprisingly cool little town.
What little bit I saw looked nice. We joked about Uncle Buck's Boobie Bungalow not making the cut for places to go with one night in town. Went downtown. Had a drink on a rooftop bar on top of a hotel. Ate at a little oyster bar. Walked a bit. Drive 30 min or so north and it is flea markets and used car lots. I could see me north of Huntsville in hillbilly country. 🤣

Getting ready to go up to Amish country for a few days with wife, niece & her husband, then to N. Myrtle Beach for the week of 4th of July. Stopping at Gettysburg on the way home for a # of days. Finishing off our summer tour in Sept with a cabin in Hocking Hills .

Just made it up to amish country. Very pretty. Theres a lot of businesses up here !

Note : no horse drawn carriages were harmed in this excursion ....
Only about 30ish minutes from me depending on how you define amish country.

Lehmans is very cool

We went to the Damascus VA area.
Section hiked about 20 miles of the Appalachian Trail on an overnight.

Then back home to reality

Yeah, i live in "amish country " but its not as defined i guess. When I said businesses, I meant manufacturing plants. They were everywhere. Semi trucks, buggies, amish on electric bikes everywhere.....lol

A decent trip to the keys. Weather sucked the last four day. Still a fun time with the ol lady!

Did you do Canada or just US?
We stopped and walked the park on the US side first. Then crossed to Canada and spent 2 nights at the Sheraton there. Also had to hit the LCBO to get my brother’s favorite whiskey. Apparently hard to come by in the US? I grabbed him 2 bottles and will give it to him when we meet at Lake of the Ozarks later this month. I told him the import fees for it are a bitch!!! 😂
