I have to say, this camper has gotten us out more then any other types of camping we have done. This has been a busy month for sure. Camped 3 weekend's with the family and 1 weekend with the TOO family. We have a few more trips already booked so I feel pretty good about this purchase. It may not be the biggest or the best looking but it gets the job done. Get out there and enjoy the outdoors and visit some of the great state parks.

After working at the local park and watching some of the nice rigs pull in I have to sit and watch them go past. Always a good time watching guys try to get these monsters in these small sites. I'll keep my little pull behind lol. I can fit it into every site we have and it fits our need just fine. Only thing lacking is a toilet. I could do with a composting toilet but I don't think anybody wants to see that lol.

It's been a fun summer thus far and we are having a ball.

Going to work on the flooring this coming weekend. I'll take some before and after pics and see if you guys like it lol. Should be much easier to take care of then the old vinyl plus look a little more up to date. Need to also replace the dinnet table. The original must have broke along the way and they replaced it. The replacement table isn't the correct width and has cracked the edge of the table top.

Plenty of things to tinker with and keep me busy lol.

Glad to hear you are getting so much use out of it. Wife approved?
The wife approves. She says it's much easier to camp now with the camper then it was when we had tents. I'd have to agree with her on that one. We can leave most of our stuff in the camper and pretty much just have to pack a bag with clothes and we are off.

Finally had a couple days to work on the flooring. The old gray speckled vinyl had to go lol. We decided to use the leftover traffic master Allure flooring in teak color from our bathroom remodel a few years ago. Had to go get another box to finish but I think it turned out pretty good. Now I just have to figure out what to do with the wood grained cabinets.

Here are some before, during, and afters.

Floor looks great, Adam. Nicely done. Those cabinets would probably look good painted in a dark brown to match the grain in the flooring.

Only bad part is that those cabinets are plywood with wood grain paper crap. I can't paint them. Thinking about taking them apart and use for templates to make new cabinets. Maybe do white breadboard with black drawer and cabinet doors lol. Only problem with that is the canvas is white so then you clash again lol.

Overlay them with flooring underlayment and paint them?

I think you could still paint them. Or, like Phil said, just say screw it and leave them as-is. lol

Yup, leave them alone. It’s fine...I’m the end, it’s still Just a camper. Cabinets hold stuff...not like you spend any time in it. Pop ups hold value, but you won’t gain any by changing cabinets.

Guess I'll have to see how much it bothers me over time and if my OCD kicks in lol. The luan underlayment might be an option as well. Only 1/4" and not overly priced per sheet either.

Or just put a different color overlayment over the original stuff

Floor looks good Adam, nice job. I agree on the cabinets, save your $ for more important things in life lol. Seriously though, as soon as you start ripping stuff out, you are bound to uncover more and more that you'll want/need to fix.
