Took my beaver traps out today..... breaking 2 in of.ice isn't my idea of fun. Ha

I did leave a few mink sets in down there. No tracks in a few days. Hes due to be back

Way to go on that huge beaver.My cousin in Iowa had one that went 70lbs a few yrs ago. Looked like a small bear.LOL Good job on your trapline I have enjoyed reading your thread.

Was wondering what the largest beaver that was ever caught weighed and had to look it up and they say 92.5 lbs.Would think it was a foothold trap as don't know that it would fit in a conibear.LOL

My largest I ever caught was 82# . Caught it in a 330 . Its head was wedged tight in the trap . Wish I would of taken better pictures. It was 4.5 ft long including the tail .

The lakes I am wanting to get into have super cloudy ice where I can't even see bubble trails. Hopefully your creek will prove to be productive for ya after this cold spell.

Took a small.hiatus from trapping due to my work schedule and the weather. I threw a few dps out.today and will put out probably 8 coyote sets tomorrow. Then wednesday I will put out another 10-12 sets
Coon have been denned up here for quite a while due to weather. But with the need to breed and warmer weather Im hoping to pick up more.before seasons end

I also put out 6 traps for yotes today. One hay set with two traps

Put out another coyote.set and a fox.set. I also put out 2 snares. One on a coon trail and another in a long shot spot. We will see. After Wednesday I will have about 30+ sets out. And hopefully another 25 rat traps. Having a hard time locating places to trap rats
