Kayak Hoist Installed

I've had my kayak hanging from an eye bolt and a hook bolt, on both ends, since I've had one. However, where it's hanging blocks my access to the attic. :smiley_chinrub:

After watching a few YouTube videos, I decided to install a hoist to make it easier to put up and take down. In the process, I've made room to get up into my attic. :smiley_bril: If the waters don't freeze soon, I'll be getting back on the water, while it's still open.

Very nice! I looked into purchasing one a while back to hang both my kayaks up, but I had a unique situation and had to build one instead.

Dad used multiple small pulleys and 2x4's with carpet to hoist the canoe in the garage.
