Checking calendar for April. The 10th and the 11th are open. Those are prime dates for really big fish. Book now
Got a surprise text last night from one of my favorite guys on here wanting to book the 10th and the 11th....with his brother and their spouses...

RIC and Ron aka Finelyshedded and Full Bore are on the books for some early April walleye action! I can't wait to see these guys.

Chad, I'll be reaching out to you to plan a couple of trips this year. Had a blast the last time out.
Tim,

I have responded to your PM and also sent a text message. Not sure if you still are interested in a trip. Let me know. Thanks.

Spent the weekend getting the boat ready and doing a few maintenance items. Plan on launching the boat within the next 10 days if the forecast doesn't show anything below 25 degrees.

Boat is washed and waxed

I got a new fuel transfer tank, 120 gallons. Gotta get the pump and hoses hooked up this week.

What is the cutoff size? We been using a 60 gallon one for several years and having to refuel every other trip becomes a pain in the ass.

119 is the size limit. 120 requires all the official things. They have really cracked down on it with all the Hotshot trucks. Easy money for those white trucks with the blinky lights. Seriously, not worth the hassle.

Good deal. Not sure if you can get an exemption under farm with it being gas and not diesel. I know those bigger tanks are a hassle with some officers. They need tested every 36 (I think) months also.

I would look into it or at least ask your insurance guy.

99 percent of the time it will have no fuel in it. I just use it to transfer fuel from the gas station to the boat. Beats the hell out of paying marina prices and Taking the risk of having water in the fuel when the lake comes up. ( i know of a few times where the underground storage tanks and a couple marinas near me got water into their tanks and screwed up some boat engines.)
