So far, I'm pleased. I wish it has mud flaps and its not made for Appalachian hills necessarily, but its going to serve its purpose really well. I can already see that some day there will be an upgrade, but I intend to get my monies worth from this thing. It's currently laying at the bottom of my stand, so we'll see if I can get some deer to walk by it and see how/if they react. Off to a good start!

So you can ride on non foot traffic trails and J has to stay on the trails..... that doesn't seem safe, the old guy having to dodge all the foot traffic.

. Yep. It reads funny but basically if you're under 65 then you can only use them on motorized trails.

Motorized is a pretty standard definition without much room for interpretation. Or do you mean the age requirement? I guess it would go along the same lines as youth seasons, and we have draw hunts for those over 65 also like ohio does for nasa plum brook, ravina etc. The entire WMA by me is youth turkey hunting by permit only for the while spring season. Hunting here isn't easy, so to keep the easy areas from getting pounded by able bodied lazy people they block off places that are youth only, and now they have senior hunts also.

This cold front had the bucks moving this morning and the buck chasers moving this afternoon! Time to charge the bike and make some needed adjustments. As a lifelong Honda rider, I hated the throttle on the left side, so I swapped it over to the right. I didn't love my bow being on the handle bars either, and I was disappointed in the Quietkat basket I got for free as part of the deal. Did some noodling and like this solution for now. I can also flip my pack over, strap the bow to the pack and bungee it in the basket. I'll do that when it's wet/muddy. Good adjustments overall.

How heavy is your e-bike? I've seen talk about an E bike for a scenario like NC is facing and wondered how easily you could pick it up over obstacles that weren't cleared yet.

Certainly could. I'm hoping it's mostly a non-issue at the farm (despite how muddy it is now). Our trails are in much better shape this year. I'll see how it goes and if I can't live with it, that's why I checked to see if I could still lay my pack flat with my bow attached. It would help protect it. Worst case, I'll put my pack on with the bow strapped to it.

So far I have liked the bow on the handle bars. Mainly because I can see it and know nothing is wrong. I'm with Brock, you may end up with mud on the bow back there.

I see you went with the milk crate on the back. That's my move!

The other thing I thought about doing was using the old Bow Bat and strap it to the milk crate.
