He was 550 pounds, and I think the one in the photo shared by 002 is much bigger by at least 100 pounds or better (+ or- 50). Hope he shot him or gets to shoot him so we can find out.

Took Craig’s boy to duck hunt. Birds were minimum and we didn’t shoot well enough for that lol. We ended up killing 3 wood duck, green wing teal, gray duck, mallard. G

Took the day off to rest up, that and it’s was pouring and lightning at 5:30. Cooking ducks now for the boys.

Tomorrow night Blake is taking me frogging! Blake is from here so he knows the ins and outs. Wait till late spring when we hammer the loggerhead turtles. The white perch are on fire here in the xbow lakes but I couldn’t give a shit less. I’m loving this semi retired life!

Well I was due! Shit the bed this morning, not literally tho. Went to try an old spot this morning in a beautiful cypress brake. Shot like shit (only shot at 5 birds) and getting my atv out the truck I tore my waders.

On a better note, my buddy’s Gavin and Cody limited on woodies and my other group still hunting and currently has 9 mallards and a teal.

So the day ended like it started. Hunted the big field stand. Had over 20 mallards and a great value mallard in my pond. No deer was seen but I did get a pic of a bear when I got to the truck. Going duck hunting in the morning, just have to decide where.

Made a hunt in the hole w Jamoe. Very slow and we went to the well too many times already. We managed 5 wood ducks and a grn wing teal. Bonus was as I was walking in, I spotted a lions mane mushroom. We picked two more on the way out. We going frogging tonight so supper tomorrow will be fried frog legs and fried mushroom’s.
