Well you can eat any of them once. And if you didnt take the picture with a potato from 10 feet that might help also.
We need better, closer pics, that includes the edge margins and under side.
Looks like COTW like I found behind the boiler in fall of 2023, colorwise anyway. But I’d wait till the folks who are more knowledgeable chime in. Maybe post a pic in Fungus/survivors thread.

Also known as a "Sheepshead" up North here... But alot darker in color than that one...I've seen them as big as a bushel basket...

In the deer stand this morning overlooking a big ag field. Can see my pond from here and wanted to deer hunt an observe the pond. Cold weather is finally back and hopefully have some greenheads soon. Hunter and myself brushed the blind in yesterday.
Dj arrived at the camp last night and one of their friend. They going to hunt the river for ducks, Pearl is staying at the camp since they can’t get her out the water where they are hunting. She needs a day of rest anyway.

Hunted this morning on the field and duck pond. Had 8 bell pepper heads fly in and a green wing teal. Seen a 2yr old buck way off and had a 2 yr old 8pt walk passed me at 30 yards.
The boys killed 4 wood ducks this morning and slipped around later killing another 3. 3 of them hunting ducks so 2 short of the limit.
I decided not to hunt this evening and of course you know what happened. The deer moved good and an old 6pt showed up where I would’ve hunted.

Dj found a freshly killed doe scouting yesterday evening. We found a truck and put our phone number asking if he shot it but no one called. Also posted on the fb wma page. The boys are going to get it since no one claimed it and it was in the 20’s last night. We don’t like wasting.
This morning Hunter took two friends to shoot wood ducks. They killed 7. Me and dj went to another spot and shot our limit. I actually dropped 2 with my first shot. Birds were still coming in while I was trying to take pics. If you look at Pearl in the first two pics she is watching them come in. The second pic the drake landed right on us look right of djs bicep

Well decided to hunt the property and so did my boys. They were seeing deer and small bucks chasing everything. Then Hunter catches an old buck slipping. We thought it was a 6 pt but was a giant 5. Weighed 191# and scored almost 109”.
