So anyway, duck hunt this morning didn’t turn out too well. Out of 5 of us only two of us killed. 5 wood ducks and a hooded merg.

6 of us hunted yielding 17 wood ducks. This is Dj’s and my birds.

Rained its ass off last night and light rain this morning. 2 slept in like a bitch and 3 of us went put the beat down on rainbows.

my camps ducks for this morning. 15 was killed.

All the boys hunted yesterday evening. 3 out of 4 had bow shots on foes and spikes and all passed. Two of them killed hogs. They are bow hunting now and I think they’ve killed 3 hogs already. I’m currently on the property with the rifle. Will report back later w pics.

Update from this evening hunt. I seen a 13” 8pt and that was it. My boys killed 3 hogs and lost another.

Devin found his hogs this morning after the duck hunt.
he also killed his first banded duck. We had a great duck hunt only one short for 8 of us hunting.

Well 4 boys went bow hunting this evening. Hunter killed a smaller hog 3 miles deer and Layne picked him up by boat. He showed up w a palmetto roll. I asked him what was that and he replied back straps. That boy come up w a good idea.
Dj last I heard from him is he was tracking a smaller hog that he arrowed. It’s over 2 hours after dark and raining for an hour. Told him to leave it. 60 degrees tonight so it won’t be good in the morning. I hunted the property and seen over 25 deer with only 2 young bucks and the rest does and fawns.
think we gonna hunt the property pond to maybe shoot a couple bell peppers.

Well we in the big fine blind and haven’t fired a shot. Did have some mallards work early about 5 minutes before shooting time and one drake landed outside the spread.
