Went to Chandos camp and we finished processing deer and Boston butts. Ground them up and vacuum sealed and put in freezer.

Ah. Thought so but it looked like a good number had holes under their jaws. We used to use a tiny treble hook on light line and a cane pole to snatch them up while walking a ditch.

I saw the holes too and figured they were gig or stringer holes as well.
BTW, what does baw mean? Y’all can’t spell ball?!?!
If y’all caught them all by hand then that is quite the accomplishment too…

The holes are from a hatchet to make them stay for the pic and cleaning. “Baw” is slang for boy .

On another note Hunter and I went to the meat hole and banged out 6 rainbow parrots. One of them was a cheater, cause we shot her bf also.

Like calling someone your age or slightly younger "son" but worse due to the history of usage with blacks. The only people who can get away with "son" or "boy" are old men, and by old I mean 80. or youre talking to an actual child. The rest get a response of "I ain't your fuckn son" or "Boy? This boys about to whip your ass" So there are more clever ways to refer to friends.

Deer hunted yesterday evening on the property, only seen a down and her Fawn. That made the decision to go duck hunting this morning an easy choice. Went to an old hole we haven’t been to in a couple years. Only a few shots fired and walked out w 3 drakes. Rode the atv to a stretch that we can jump shoot a few and Hunter killed a hen. Left there and went to another hole, this time I told Hunter you go and finish the limit. Heard him shoot 3 times. He snap chatted me showing me two drakes and was showing me one like it was banded but wasn’t. I snapped him back saying he was holding the bird like it was banded. He laughed and said no. Then went and picked up the other bird and it was banded!
