Ran the family out to Horn island today. Pretty flat running out. Cloudy and overcast but that's way better than blazing ass sun.

Heck yes it is. Gives the boys hours of enjoyment and they're out of mom and dad's hair.
. They were having hermit crab races on it today. They would go find three crabs each and put them in a pile in the middle. The first one to come out of its shell and plop off the side won.

Man I had the wife and a 5&6 year old in the boat that was loaded with a giant foam mat, sand toys, beach umbrella, cooler, snack and towel bag, lawn chair and other shit. Dad was just the ferry service from the ramp to the island and back. I told Jessica I was getting this as a wrap put on the boat.

Took a charter out this morning with some buddies for snapper. Being end of season they've been hit pretty hard but we managed some nice ones and a ton of undersized ones. A couple of Reef Donkeys, a shark, and a short cobia.
We kept an AJ to strip up for speckled troud bait. They're not worth a dang to eat but put up a good fight. If you think a good fight is reeling an 80lb sack of concrete 100 feet up from the bottom.

Yesterday in the future of deer hunting thread I posted the below.
Which prompted me to head up to a WMA I'd never explored today and see what I could kick up. It was a nice little walk exploring new ground. When I was leaving Mr Green jeans was sitting beside his truck in a folding chair with a cooler. but anyway time to grind sausage.
