Glad yall had a nice trip. Some days the fish give, and some days not. Caught a few and had some tight lines so that was good. 300 miles on water is like me driving to Ohio and back without stopping. Bet you slept good last night đŸ˜‚.

To Ohio and back in a convertible in the winter. đŸ¤£ I closed my eyes at 9 last night, it felt like I blinked and it was 9 hours later. đŸ¤£ We fished horseshoe quite a bit, that's where we hooked the two blackfin. Not sure if you know where it's at, easiest would be out of east pass through rig city. Instead of going south like we did after catching bait, head straight east. It got crowded with everyone drift fishing for kings. Must have been a tournament or something.

Yeah got wet, rained on, blown to hell and cold and misty. It’s the life of a commercial fisherman. We laughed on the boat saying this summer we wanted cooler air and shade. Today we wanted warmer air and sun. Mostly I wanted it calm! I got no wishes today. Leaving in the morning to go to the camp for primitive hunt in the nwr. Traditionally, I do well on this weekend. Haven’t drawn blood yet this year, hopefully that changes.

What a beautiful place to live. From offshore tuna on Wednesday to my youngest son Pierce's first deer today.

A big doe came in with this yearling doe. The yearling went right to the feeder, the big doe crossed infront of the blind and I could hear her trying to circle downwind. I knew our minutes were numbered so I asked if he wanted to take the yearling he had in the scope. Yep. Pow!

Amd no. That's not a 50 cal rifle despite how big it looks against that yearling. đŸ¤£
