9 doe and a buck. Buck wouldn't follow the script for Ethan. In range but wrong side of tbe blind and too many deer in close to be moving around. Very frustrated.

Had a buddy call and invite me on a meat hunt. Best hunt I’ve had in a long time. Seen 25 total! It turned into a special thing, 2 guys with guns and tags...no shots fired and could’ve fired many. We just enjoyed it for what it was, a great hunt! I needed that badly. (Insert Brock here)

Sometimes you just have to enjoy the moment... With the lack of deer this year on the properties I hunt, it was nice to just see deer. I was thankful for the experience, I took enough away without killing anything but time buddy.
I hear ya. I've done that a few times this year.

I haven’t, been a rough year for sightings. You know, you’ve been a part of it with me. Normally I have multiple chances to just watch deer, this was my first chance this year. Felt GREAT! I think my buddy learned something as well, he told me on the hike back “I’ve never let a deer walk by before”.

In the shed, possibly my first sit in it this year...squirrel population is nothing short of impressive! Seen a fawn at first light. Buck only for adults here...I might bend that rule later in the year though[emoji23]. My rule, so it doesn’t count, right? Lol

Got in the blind before light all settled in then right at light a deer that was bedded between me and the corn decided it was time to go and jumped up and ran off. All I saw was a white tail and a decent sized body. Didn’t blow so that is good, but it still blows. Lol
