Nice work this morning fellas.

I'm taking a lunch break.

This morning was a success for me.....no shots fired. Saw 11 deer within 25 yards, 6 different bucks, all dinks, 8, 6, 4, 3, spike, spike.
They were cruising by every 20-30 minutes this morning making it action filled. I had some does around and one was being shadowed and harassed by a spike.
I'm sending Dad to hunt that stand tonight. I'm going to my all or nothing stand.

He came to the tree when I grunted at him. The lighted nock was a follow up after I had spined him . It is actually behind the shoulder but the nock looks more forward .

In hind sight I didn't need to shoot again. But it's a good thing to do on and spine shot deer
