Been sitting all week in Greene county and finally started seeing some small bucks in the daylight. Had a dink 9 and 4 points walk past the stand within the last 30 mins. It's about to happen...

Fought the sickness all morning and finally mustered up the strength to get out. No hopes, just know I can't kill one in bed.
Back in the saddle again. Nothing all morning but can’t complain about a beautiful day with sun, a multitude of colors, and a nnw wind Finally!
I was out all day. I didn't talk, piss or fart & never saw anything until close to 5pm. Something was chasing something out in front of me amongst all the young saplings & their leaves. What I did see was a deer running away blowing it's head off from back behind me a ways. I think it saw me stretching my leg, or smelled me.

A great day. 2 stands, 9 different bucks, 6 antlerless, all under 25 yards. The deer were safe today.

Great evening hunt. I f'd up. Should have takin the first available shot 35 yards Broadside when I first saw him. He was looking the other way. Hesitated checking out antlers and thinking I was going to get a chip shot. Sum a biotch stood there for what had to be a minute. Enough for me to get situated, cross hairs lined up. Argh. Should have let it fly. Never got another good look as he took the route you'd least expect and veered away from me.
That was last 30 minutes of light.
Arrived to a couple small bucks. Got in stand. Does started showing up and being dogged by smaller bucks. Watching the does Trying to hide from them was entertaining.
Seems like it's about to explode out there.
Frusturated....... but it was fun and I get to head back out. Shit. Nice wide 9 point with bright white throat patch. Beauty

Little more excitement this evening. 3 doe and 2 bucks. One buck was dogging a doe who was not in the mood. The other buck went to a high spot in the field and was doing slow circles searching for does. About 20 min before dark 2 big boys got in a fight. You could tell there was some mass slamming together. Got a quick glimpse of one as he went where the 2 came from this morning. Got a feeling I better go back there in the AM.

Went out with a buddy of mine to property he’s got permission on.... Carroll county and he saw 12doe, 5 bucks (all small young ones) dogging the does and chasing them around...
I was a 1/4 mile away and saw a small 8 that walked within 10yards and a doe about 50yards away out in a cut bean field.... Really good night.... going to sit till noon tomorrow and then switch farms for the evening....
