Live From the Stand 2017.

Had a 120 ish 8pt trot thru. He has been all over this property this week. Horn dog is going to run himself to death. He trotted by 40-60yds out. Combine is working the rest of the corn to my west. Too bad I only get another hour in the tree. Need to meet a guy to rent out a house then take my Mom to Bellefountaine. Oh well. 2hr sit is better than none. Plus I'm pulling 3 cards on the way out! Woohoo!
Super windy here. Thought id be seeing deer for sure with the amount on camera. So much for that.

Yessir Brock. Hard to complain if you are at least seeing some young and horny bucks wandering around lost. Might get an evening hunt in Sunday. Tonight is out. Tomorrow is out. I can't kill them if I'm not hunting. I'll be living thru your updates gentlemen! Best of luck to you all. Be safe.
what time you guys been getting in the stand? havent been out at all - weather channel says sunrise is 751 so legal light around 721?

It’s a great gun stand but a little open for bow. I’m half hunting, half scouting the bottom in the background!
Went out around 1030 until 4:30, set up a ground blind and I picked a good area as rubs 30 yards in front of it and 2 scrapes within 40 yards of it.... Next week should start some all day sits and I’ll rotate between this and a ladder stand I have set up....

Back at it tonight, saw a real nice 10 pop out at 610 last night. Hoping he makes the same mistake tonight.
What a wet windy evening. I did manage to see five tonight. Two of which were bucks and came into range, just nothing big. My first time back out since the opener, sure felt nice. Good luck this weekend all, should be some moving with this front.
